Allegations

When disclosures and/or allegations are initially made, Adsafe’s Case Officers support the alleged victim and/or their family in the first instance and then liaise with government agencies such as the relevant police and child protection agencies, to ensure the appropriate handling and reporting of the disclosure is conducted.

If the police choose not to proceed with investigating an allegation of abuse which has been perpetrated by an employee or volunteer within the Seventh-day Adventist Church (which occurs for a number of reasons), Adsafe may choose to investigate the alleged conduct by engaging an independent investigator to make a finding. Adsafe's role is to oversight the investigation process.
