The Risk Management and Investigation Team is committed to providing a safe worshipping environment for children and vulnerable people so that they can worship and grow in their faith within the Seventh-day Adventist Church without concern for their safety or risk of suffering physical or sexual abuse.
The Risk Management and Investigation Team also coordinates and manages independent investigations for child-related and vulnerable people-related matters within the Seventh-day Adventist Church and affiliated entities.
Persons who have prior sustained findings from investigations into allegations about their conduct or criminal convictions against a child or vulnerable person may express a desire to participate in the services of the church in the future. Adsafe has the responsibility to assess the risk to safety this poses and to implement a plan to ensure that this can be done safely for all members of the community.
